Exporting an account's database will always produce a CSV file with all contacts, regardless of opt-in status or campaign association. Follow the instructions below to export this list and remove opt-outs and contacts pending consent. 

Step 1. Export the Contacts

• Click Contacts > click View Contacts > click the EXPORT button in the upper right-hand corner. 
• Save the CSV file

Step 2. Sort and Remove Opted-Out Contacts and Contacts Pending Consent

• Open the CSV File 
• Sort the list by OPTED OUT and remove rows containing contacts where Opted Out = TRUE
• Sort the list by TCPA STATUS and remove rows containing contacts where TCPA INVITE REQUIRED, PENDING CONSENT, TCPA REJECTED, etc...
• (Optional) Sort the list by CARRIER and remove rows containing contacts where the Carrier is blank to remove landlines. 

Step 3. Save the Updated File
